A brief history of the Karkonosze treasure hunters:
The Walloons historically originated in northern France and Belgium, and were said to have been seekers of precious minerals and gemstones. The Walloons were first mentioned in the Szklarska Poręba area as early as the Middle Ages. They took strong care of their traditions and customs, and were also famous for their faith in magic.
Currently, there are two Walloon loops:

The second leads through places influenced by the presence of the Walloons in the area of Szklarska Poręba; during the trip, you can visit, among others: pyrite adits, Leśna Huta or the Walloon melting pot.
